The Appeal

Perhaps the most iconic luxury utility vehicle to bless the roads, the Range Rover remains incredibly desirable, and it is very easy to see why. These impressive machines offer exceptional comfort levels, an array of luxurious features, buckets of power, and a timelessly classy design.
Presented today is one of the more desirable L322 models, proudly boasting a whopping 4.4L V8, alongside a superbly preserved leather interior, and gleaming red paintwork. Enjoyed by just 5 total keepers, this fantastic example reflects plenty of care over the years and stands in truly superb condition for its age.

If you’re on the search for an opulent daily driver, a classy weekend toy or even a trusty workhorse, this 2002 Range Rover Vogue V8 is sure to impress.

The History and Paperwork

  • Boasts just 4 former keepers, with 105K on the clock
  • Beautifully preserved, likely benefiting from years of garage storage
  • Cherished by the current keeper since 2022, covering fewer than 2000 miles throughout their ownership
  • Includes plenty of history and paperwork, such as:
    • The original service booklet, containing 8 main dealer and 3 independent specialist service stamps
    • A selection of invoices covering previous maintenance and repairs
    • The current V5C document
  • Last serviced at 103,700 miles in November 2022
  • Comes ready to enjoy with 2 keys, and advisory-free MOT until the 19th of April 2024

The Interior

  • Features sublime sand leather upholstery, with sleek wooden accents throughout
  • Benefits from plenty of luxury comforts, such as heated seats front and rear, dual-zone climate control, a multi-function leather steering wheel, and more
  • Offers an incredible finish throughout the cabin, with plush tidy carpeting, brilliantly preserved seats, and clean headlining
  • It should be noted that the onboard phone, sat-nav and air-con aren’t currently operational. The current keeper does also inform us that the sunroof hasn’t been opened during their ownership. The screen, radio, multi CD player and trip computer screen, however, are all in full working order, with no known faults to note
  • Overall, the interior of this now 21-year-old Range Rover is in very impressive condition, and could very easily rival that of a much newer car. There are slight blemishes to note, including a few minor scuffs to the boot pillar trim, and an ever so slightly loose door card, but hardly anything that detracts from the overall finish

The Exterior

  • Finished with Alveston Red Micatallic paintwork, which offers a very impressive finish across the vehicle, with only a small number of incredibly minor age-related blemishes to show. These include minor markings to the rear bumper and the expected front-end chips
  • Comes equipped with a set of previously refurbished 19” six-spoke alloy wheels, which show excellent finishes, with plenty of tyre tread left to enjoy
  • The current keeper notes two small holes near the number plate fittings, possibly used for a reverse camera by a previous keeper. These minor holes have since been sealed up, and are hardly noticeable
  • Overall, this Range Rover boasts an exterior as equally impressive as the interior, with only a few very minor blemishes to note. Clearly reflecting plenty of care, the exterior certainly leaves little to be further desired

The Mechanics

  • Powered by a 4.4L V8, with plenty of power to enjoy
  • Benefits from excellent service history, with plenty of recent maintenance and servicing to show. Key highlights from the current keeper’s ownership include:
    • A specialist gearbox service
    • A new headlamp unit
    • New rocker cover gaskets
  • The vehicle also boasts considerable prior maintenance, including two new brake calipers, as well as new brake pads, discs, lines and hoses.
  • Buyers will be pleased to know that the vehicle fires up right away, and performs without known fault (with the exception of the aforementioned interior defects, and intermittent parking sensors)
  • Although no obvious corrosion is otherwise noticeable, the passenger side strut top does show very minor bubbling. Fortunately, this appears to be incredibly minor, and may simply benefit from a quick dash of TLC.
  • Comes ready to enjoy, with a recent service at 103,700 miles, and advisory-free MOT until the 19th of April 2024

Summary

Featuring plenty of power, an incredibly comfortable interior, and a timeless design, nothing quite compares to the classy nature of a Range Rover. This particular example serves the name well, proudly offering a beautifully preserved finish inside and out, with excellent mechanical health, great service history, and advisory-free MOT until 2024.

Very few similarly-aged examples seem to reflect such care, making this automatic 2002 Range Rover Vogue V8 a superb choice for any enthusiast or collector.
