The Appeal
The DB7 may very well be one of the most impactful Aston Martins ever produced and is often credited as the marque’s knight in shining armour amidst turbulent times. With the assistance of the Ford Motor Company, and with TWR at the helm, the DB7 would help re-ignite the demand for luxury British tourers, soon proving incredibly successful in a rather difficult market.
The DB7 was so successful in fact, that a much more powerful Vantage spec model was quickly greenlit, and set out to take the world by storm. These highly desirable Vantage models are capable of a blisteringly quick 0-60 time of just 4.9 seconds as a result of their hand-crafted V12 engines, and offer one of the finer driving experiences available, even today.
This particular DB7 Vantage does of course also hold the Volante specification, combining the Vantage’s superb performance, with top-down motoring fun. In addition to boasting such a high specification, this example has covered a mere 21k across its two total owners, and stands in mightily impressive condition, inside and out.
If you’re looking for a low-mileage collection piece, or a beautifully preserved weekend toy, very few vehicles on the market will hit the spot quite like this 2002 DB7 Vantage Volante.
