The Appeal

When Yamaha moved first to readdress the identity of a sports bike, Suzuki were ready and waiting to bite back with this - the original 'Gixxer-thou'. These were every bit as aggressive and high-octane as they appeared, and in such an analogue format - before the swathes of electronic aids began taking hold of the motorcycle market - they could well be one of the purest sports-bike experiences on the market today.

First registered in October 2001, this bike has enjoyed a cosseted lifestyle, and has covered what we're assured is a no-expense-spared 33,317 miles from new. It's virtually stock, with only gentle, period-friendly modifications, and comes with plenty of time left on its advisory-free MOT.
