The Appeal
Thanks to Prodrive the UK market got some of the best Imprezas. Amongst the rarest is this car, the UK 300 that was built in 2001 as a replica of the championship-winning car campaigned by Richard Burns and Robert Reid. This car carried the Peter Stevens-penned design details from the rally car straight into the road version.
Such is the sheer driveability of the WRX that only 100 of the original 300 are believed to remain on UK roads. This car is pleasingly factory standard and comes to market with low mileage for the year. The condition is impressive and backed by an extensive maintenance folder.
Since 2023 over £7,000 has been invested in the car via a model specialist. This work has included new discs and pads and servicing work. The result is a well kept car in very good running condition with an advisory-free MOT.
Any Impreza is a driving treat. This UK 300 adds extra style and exclusivity that compelling appeal.
The vendor writes:
“This Subaru has been cared for impeccably all of its life from the records and paperwork that come with the vehicle. It drives, changes gear and stops beautifully. There is a 3 year ceramic coating which I had applied at the end of last year. One of only just over 100 left registered on the road and out of that, one of very few with no modifications other than replacement parts due to wear.
“It is spectacular to drive - such a great experience. It is a genuine UK300, first Prodrive project, very well maintained and cared for, a platform from which so much of the Subaru heritage was built.
