The Appeal

Like a much-loved musical, the original Mini required multiple encores, Rover offering a number of special editions to mark the end of production. The Cooper Sport 500 can lay justifiable claim to being amongst the very last cars off the line before production ended.
As the name suggests, the model was specially created to mark the final 500 cars off the line. With special glovebox plaques, Platinum Silver roofs and high level rear brake lights, these cars were only available in four colours.
A Certificate of Authenticity shows that this car is 389th of those 500, built on 26th September, eight days before Mini production finally ended. It is one of only 108 Anthracite 500s.
With low owners and mileage, and in superb original and standard condition, this is a rare opportunity to acquire surely one of the rarest and most desirable Minis to come to market.
