2001 Porsche Boxster S

Highlights

  • Very nicely presented throughout
  • Good service history
  • Factory hardtop and 911 Turbo-look wheels options

The Appeal

Porsche were the original masters of the compact roadster, and finally returned to retain their crown in 1996. An affordable solution to Porsche ownership, the Boxster seemed too good to be true. Literally saving the company from oblivion, the Boxster shared significant parts with the 911, making it every inch a Porsche with an added thrilling twist.
A comparatively lightweight set-up along with its mid-engined flat-six engine, made it a stable, entertaining yet practical purebred Porsche. Never one to let a good idea rest, Porsche continued to develop the Boxster adding more power and appeal on the way. Launched in 1999, Porsche upgraded the brakes, ABS system and most importantly gave it a 3.2-litre 247 bhp engine, resulting in the Boxster S.
This 2001 Tiptronic Boxster S is finished in a very appealing and beautifully finished Forest green colourway, with a matching green leather interior. It comes with the optional removable aluminium hardtop and 17” 911-style wheels. It has a good service history with 13 stamps, including one earlier this year, an MOT to February 2024, and rather impressively 5 keys.
