2001 MGF 1.8 MKII

Highlights

  • Tiny 10,118 documented miles from new
  • Rare and well kept BRG with Chartreuse Green leather
  • Only four registered keepers
  • Cambelt, water pump and radiator replaced
  • Regularly serviced and maintained
  • MOT to June 2025 with no advisories

The Appeal

The MGF’s enduring appeal is down to many things. Classic style aping those earlier cars. Nimble, mid-engined handling. Comfortable and practical cabins. And the reassurance of a huge and welcoming supplier and club network.
These are very usable cars and yet this one has covered a mere 10,118 miles from new. As such it is a chance to buy a 23 year old car in close to new condition. It is also a desirable MkII - with updated aesthetics and interior - and one of the last built before the arrival of the MGTF.
Finished in evocative BRG Pearlescent with a very rare two-tone Chartreuse Green leather - green and black - interior, as you would expect of such a cherished car it shows few signs of age.
During its life the cambelt, water pump and radiator have been replaced and it has been regularly serviced. Clearly its four keepers have been enthusiast and it is ready for the next one. A long MOT to June 2025 with no advisories underlines the condition.

The History and Paperwork

  • MOT history verifies the low mileage
  • Reported to have only saved for summer use only by current keeper
