The Appeal
The 90s had brought a lot of change to the market. The sporty, lightweight convertible was enjoying something of a rebirth thanks to the likes of Mazda, and, naturally, Mercedes-Benz wanted an 'in'. What they came up with was the SLK (Sporty lightweight short), a compact, perky little number that felt bang up-to-date. What it boasted above all else, though, was comfort. The SLK320 felt leisurely and laid back, and quickly gained quite a niche for exactly that.
These cars, naturally, began sapping up miles - which makes this particular vehicle very special. This 2001 car has covered only 18,132 miles from new; a remarkably low odometer reading for a 23 year old car, and one backed by the car's service history. It's an excellent, scarcely used example of a true modern classic, and will no doubt prove a highly rewarding purchase for the lucky new owner.
