The Appeal

P38 Range Rovers are one of those timeless, classic designs that have aged very well indeed.

Handsomely styled and smartly proportioned with excellent drivetrains and specifications, they make for a very fine modern classic with a hefty dose of luxury.

This particular example has spent the majority of its life in London and we’re told it has never been taken off-road.

Certainly, it’s presented in very fine condition for its age, with genuine low mileage and an extremely attractive specification.

If you’re in the market for a luxury daily, this simply has to be considered.

Leather appears to be in very good condition, with a little wear evident to the driver’s seat and handbrake gaiter
Wood veneers and optional half-wood steering wheel, with no evidence visible of cracking or delamination
Beige carpets in fine condition, with complementary black-edged overmats in the rear and branded rubber overmats in the front
The headlining looks to be secure, clean and undamaged
Dual zone air conditioning with front and rear screen demisters
High end Harman-Kardon radio/cassette sound system
Intermittent fault on the amplifier for the sound system
Electric, heated seats
Electric sunroof, windows and door mirrors
Cruise control and adjustable suspension with Motorway mode

The Exterior

Lovely Java Black paintwork, presented in very good condition for its age
Minor blemishes to the paintwork, including small scuffs to the near-side door mirror, lower tailgate and some hairline scratches to the bonnet edge and around the off-side front door handle
All of the trim and badging appears to be in excellent order, with no evident damage or significant wear
All of the light lenses look to be clear, with no chips or cracks we could see
The car is riding on its original 18” alloys, which the vendor tells us have been recently refurbished and are shod in a matching set of nearly new Avon tyres
Overall the exterior presents very well indeed, with nothing that would concern us

The Mechanics

The minor coolant and oil advisories on the last MOT have been addressed with a new rocker gasket and a loose coolant hose being reattached

It looks to have been very well preserved, and would make a wonderful luxury daily.
