HIGHLIGHTS
- 4.0 litre supercharged V8
- Well presented
- Extensive bodywork restoration
THE APPEAL
The Jaguar XK was initially launched in 1996 to replace the tiring XJS; like a breath of fresh air, the model was a welcomed addition to the Jaguar range, especially the XKR model with its 4.0 litre supercharged V8. An excellent 2+2 grand tourer which offers plenty of luxury, comfort and power, making it easy and very capable to use around town, or should you need to stretch the XKR’s legs, it's more than capable of doing that too.
This one owner 2000 example is not your average XKR which has suffered the usual areas of corrosion. In 2021 it underwent an extensive body restoration which saw any areas of concern replaced with new panels. This included wings, inner arches, rear quarters, sills, and floor pans. With that work completed, it was finished in the original colour of Topaz Metallic and is ready to continue being enjoyed for years without worrying about corrosion.
