The Exterior
- Dark Metallic blue paintwork is in good condition overall, with some minor blemishes and marks, but no notable damage we could identify
- All of the external trim looks to be present and correct and in reasonable condition for the age, we only noted a slight scuff to the rear bumper
- Headlights show some signs of slight misting
- Original ‘Style 37’ alloy wheels, in reasonable condition, with some evidence of light kerbing to the rims
- Matched set of Uniroyal tyres appear to be in good condition, with good tread levels
- The vehicle’s underside looks to be in nice condition, with no signs of damage or notable corrosion
The Mechanics
- 5,379cc V12 engine
- Automatic transmission, which we’re told has been reconditioned
- During their ownership, the vendor tells us they have fitted new dampers, a new alternator, tie rod, track control arm, parking sensor, front discs and pads, airflow sensor, camshaft sensor, manifold gaskets, radiator, camshaft position sensor, new head gaskets and the heads have been skimmed
- The engine bay itself presents well, looking nice and clean, with no signs of leaks we could see
- The vendor has told us the car has been regularly maintained, running and driving very well
- We’re informed there are no mechanical issues with the car, other than a slight rattling noise appearing sporadically on start up
Summary
Executive cars from this period are a great way to get a lot of car for a great price. This example has been well maintained, shows low mileage and has an excellent specification. It would make for an excellent luxury daily.
