THE HISTORY AND PAPERWORK

• Since then, the car has been maintained by the vendor's local specialist 
• The current MOT is valid until the 15th of March 2024

THE INTERIOR

• A well-specced interior sees the MR2 fitted with the premium Black leather upholstery
• The seats are in excellent condition with no damage. There is a small amount of colour wear to the driver’s bolster 
• Door cards are in good order, and the door-mounted switches are reported to work correctly
• The dashboard is free from any damage and presents well 
• All of the instruments are working as they should, and the odometer has a reading of 86,601 miles
• The switchgear is in good condition and working correctly, with a minimal amount of wear to the buttons
• The original factory Toyota head unit is in place
• Steering wheel and gear knob are in good condition with no signs of excessive wear
• Cabin carpets have no real wear to them
• Both covers are included to store the T-top roof panels
• The boot area is clean and tidy, with the spare wheel, Jack and tool kit present   

THE EXTERIOR

• Finished in the original colour of Sonic Shadow with a gloss black roof 
• The paintwork presents very well
• There is a small, minor scuff to the rear bumper on the passenger side 
• The panel gaps are equal, and there are no noticeable dings or dents externally. There is a small ding on the inside of the door
• A revision four front bumper has been fitted 
• Extra cool points for the pop-up headlights, which are working correctly and free from any damage
• The windows appear in good condition with no excessive scratches, and they even have the original dealer decals in place 
• The window seals look in good order
• The T-bar roof panels are in good condition, with no leaks reported
• The rear lights are free from any damage 
• Fitted with the five-spoke original wheels, these are generally in good condition with just a small amount of age-related corrosion around some of the spokes
• The tyres all have a good amount of tread remaining, but the fronts are considerably older than the rears

THE MECHANICS

• 2.0 litre 16 valve engine
• Mid-engined 
• Five-speed manual gearbox  
• The MR2 is said to fire up as it should, with no untoward noises coming from the engine bay
• The vendor reports the timing belt and water pump were replaced last year, and this won’t be due for another five years
• The MR2 handles nicely, and no issues have been reported by the vendor when the car is driven 
• As well as handling nicely, it also stops well with no juddering through the pedal 
• Looking under the car, there is a minimal amount of surface patina thanks to the vehicle being stored indoors from new
