The Appeal
The 996 was arguably the most user-friendly 911 ever built when it hit the market. The world was changing, and the new 911 made a huge technical switch-up by converting to a water-cooled engine, along with some unexpected styling changes. It was a move that stunned purists - but paid back the investment in droves. Yes, the new car was somewhat controversial in many ways - but that now only makes them more distinctive and desirable.
This 1999 convertible has been regularly serviced and maintained over the past 8 years, with more than £10,000 invested in mechanical work since its acquisition. Complete with both its hard and soft top, the car is in excellent order with a silver exterior and navy blue interior - a colour scheme near-synonymous with the car.
We've no doubt this impressive example of an all-time Porsche classic will make for a much-cherished addition to any fleet.
