The Appeal
The XK8 first hit the market for the '97 model year, and was, to all accounts, an immediate hit - no doubt because, for many, it perfectly summated expectations for a Jaguar car. With its large open-mouthed front end and raised chamfered tail, the design cues of the car's profile were an impressive callback to the legendary E-Type - though the new car was far more refined. Indeed, Jeremy Clarkson referred to the cabin as 'Blenheim Palace', quite a piece of praise from the legendarily cynical petrolheaded presenter.
This particular example, cherished by its current owner for the past 14 years, stands out due to its meticulous maintenance and impressive service history. With a recent trip to Monza for the Italian GP under its belt, this XK8 has proven very reliable for its current keeper, and has been nicely maintained.
