The Appeal

Abarth-badged offerings aside, it's been a long time since we've seen a sporty Fiat. The Coupé 20 Valve was a darling of '90s group tests; a "baby Ferrari" with beautiful styling by Pininfarina and a boosty five-cylinder engine providing performance to match. The design has aged gracefully, and in the age of silent EV powertrains, the drawn of that "warbling" motor is stronger than ever.

The vendor bought this 1999 example brand-new from Riveria Fiat dealership, Alperton, Wembley. It has been serviced and MOT tested through to November 2025, the turbo chain was replaced at 60,000 miles, and new exhaust has been fitted from the Cat back by Power Italia of Basildon. The Fiat remains highly original, and while it shows its age in places, its unrivalled provenance makes it a very tempting proposition indeed.
