1999 BMW 840 Ci Sport E31

Highlights

  • Well-documented service history
  • MOT valid until July 2024
  • Original and superbly presented throughout

The Appeal

After a total expenditure of 1.5 billion Deutsche Marks and almost a decade of development, BMW released the E31 8 Series in 1990. It was to be the firm’s flagship grand tourer, boasting supreme luxury, blistering performance and an abundance of innovative features.
This 1999 840 Ci Sport features the larger, torquier and more economical of the V8s - the venerable 4.4-litre M62B44 engine. The car is highly original and superbly presented, with no notable signs of wear or deterioration to report. The substantial history file shows that this BMW has been well-maintained over the years, and a valid MOT provides further reassurance that this is a fine example.
We can heartily recommend adding one of these increasingly sought-after modern classic GTs to your garage and this would be a most worthy candidate for your consideration.
