Highlights

- Rare 114bhp 1.8L SR model
- Original and barely worn interior
- Complete car for recommissioning
The Appeal
The sixth generation of Toyota’s Celica is the one forever associated with Carlos Sainz and competition-pummelling rally success. This car may not be one of the many rally replicas, but it is imbued with the same DNA.
It is also, arguably, considerably rarer because 14,400 mile, two-keeper Celicas do not come to market very often. This 1.8SR has been in dry storage since 2004 and recently repatriated by its new keeper. The result of that sparing use and garaging is a standard, unmodified car with remarkably preserved bodywork and an interior that looks barely used. The engine is said to run well and it drives too.
The T200 Celica is one of the coupe world’s best. This generally solid and tidy low mileage car is a rare find that deserves the light recommissioning required to put it back on the road.
