The Appeal

If you’re in the market for a competitive car that’s well-suited to a range of events, we have the very thing for you - and it’s ready to go.
For years, WRC was dominated by European manufacturers, but it was the Toyota Celica GT-Four that broke the spell, paving the way for the likes of Mitsubishi, Subaru and Mazda in the coming years. The Celica won a score of events and ultimately championships, becoming Toyota’s most successful rally car.
Here we have a rather brilliant 1998 Celica which has been expertly modified for a variety of competitions and to pay homage to its four-wheel-drive siblings. Ideal for Clubman Road Rallys, Sprints, Track Days or even Single Stage Rallys, this Celica comes with a UK Motorsport Vehicle Passport that’s valid until 2029. Since it’s road registered, it could readily be used as a show car, or simply as a brilliant weekend toy for rallying enthusiasts. Accompanied by a large collection of spares, this highly competitive competition car would be a great addition for anyone involved in historic motorsport.
