THE APPEAL

This lovely example ticks all the boxes. Not only is the C43 AMG a rare model, but It also has a nice amount of service history, two keys are present, and the car is in nice clean condition inside and out. The C43 AMG offers superb practicality, comfort, and power, making it a very usable saloon car with that bit extra.

THE INTERIOR 

• Exclusive Condor AMG leather black/sliver (588A) 
• Original condition throughout
• Heated and electric front seats, both in excellent condition
• The rear seat and door cards are in excellent condition
• The dashboard is in good condition with no damage
• Fitted with carbon fibre effect trim to the centre section
• Uprated Alpine head-unit with Bluetooth and DAB
• Original factory head unit included with code 
• Cruise control 
• Automatic climate control is reported to be working correctly, regassed in August 2022
• No warning lights are reported to be displayed when the engine is running
• The odometer shows a reading of 122,072 miles
• The switchgear all looks to be in good condition and is reported to be working correctly
• Headlining is nice and clean with no sagging
• The carpets are in excellent condition with a minimal amount of wear

THE EXTERIOR 

• Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) 
• AMG styling package consists of a front spoiler, side skirts and rear apron
• The doors, bonnet, and boot shuts align straight and even all around with an equal panel gap 
• Headlights and indicators are in good condition with no cracks in the lenses
• There is a crack in the nearside foglight
• The rear lights are in good order with no splits or cracks
• Unfortunately, the front and rear parking sensors (Parktronic System PTS) are not working. They are said to have been disconnected by a previous keeper who lived in the city (constantly beeping), but the vendor has not investigated this
• There are some small age-related chips around the body
• The C43 appears to be nice and straight with no dings or dents
• There are tinted windows to the sides and rear (lighter tint on the front doors)
• The window trims appear in good condition, and there are no noticeable scratches to the windows
• Wheels are replica Mercedes 18” Monoblock II alloys and are in excellent condition
• A matching set of Michelin Pilot Sport tyres are fitted with a good amount of tread remaining

THE MECHANICS

• 4.3 litre V8 
• The car is reported to start up without hesitation
• The engine bay is well presented, and there doesn't appear to be any leaks coming from the vehicle
• Five-speed automatic gearbox is reported to have a smooth change
• The vendor says the car drives well, with no untoward noises coming from the transmission or suspension
• The brakes bring the C43 AMG to a halt in a straight line with no juddering reported. These were replaced at the beginning of 2022
• Looking at the underside, the C43 is very clean for the year and doesn’t show any areas for concern
