The SL320 is the pick of the range because it balances decent power - there’s 225bhp on tap - with fair economy for such a big car. The later M112 3.2L V6 is the more modern choice, but with the same unburstability of the earlier straight six.

This very smart Brilliant Silver car has been in the same family for many years. It is a high specification car with black leather, walnut veneers, panoramic glass hard top and uprated alloys that has covered few miles for its years.
