The Appeal
The Elise arrived a little late to the two-seat sport car revival kick-started by the car that copied the Elan, its spiritual forebearer. But it was a clever riposte to the MX5 - the Elise was light and agile in true Lotus fashion, but with a degree of sophistication that the Mazda lacked.
The Series 1 is the purest iteration of Lotus’ vision and arguably one of the greatest, if not the greatest, driver’s car of the last three decades. If you want one - and surely you do - then this car ticks the right boxes. It is a low mileage, low keeper Series 1 in well kept original and unmodified condition.
The Nautilus Blue metallic and matching blue leather interior are both very well kept and accented by smart grey anodised five spoke alloys.
Regularly serviced and maintained and equipped with an advisory-free MOT, this Elise is ready for the sole reason you want one - to drive.
