The Appeal
The Land Rover Wolf is very much a 'working' Defender - stripped back to the most functional aspects of a winning design. The result is one of the most rugged, capable vehicles to ever work in military service, with some examples still soldiering on unabated nearly thirty years later.
This particular example was sold off by the MoD in 2016, having spent an impressive 18 years in military service. As a result, it's been very well maintained - the army insisting upon close-knit maintenance schedules. However, its specific record during military service remains a mystery.
With only 100,919km on the clock - and only around 6,000km covered since its retirement from the British army - this vehicle's ex-MoD history and quintessentially functional styling should make for quite the headturner.
