The Appeal

Offered alongside the Aston Martin DB7 as an evolution of the XJS platform, the Jaguar XK8 signalled a new era for both venerable British car manufacturers. Irrefutably modern yet clearly influenced by Jaguars of old, the XK8 proved an accomplished grand tourer, launching the all-new AJV8 engine.

This 1998 example boasts a choice factory specification. Just look at that colour - it couldn’t be more British if it tried. You’ll note that this is the svelte Coupé variant with just 107,404 miles on the clock - not at all many for a car of this age.

The big cat has been off the road since its MOT expired in September 2023, but the vendor notes that it continues to run and drive well. Following a service and fresh MOT, it’ll be ready to hit the road once more.
