The Interior
- Original Interior
You open the door and find the luxurious, black leather interior which is in really good condition considering the age of the car.
In the 90’s Jaguar were regarded as a ‘luxury’ brand and this shows in the quality of the 24 year old interior. The seats have very little wear on them (with exception of the usual edging on the seats that is caused by “shuffling” onto the seat).
The rear seats look like they have never been sat in, the dashboard is, as you would expect well equipped and in good condition.
Everything works as it should (the radio does say that it requires a radio code, however the owner has said that they are sorting this out ready for when the car is sold). The kick plates are a little worn, especially the nsf and nsr doors.

The Exterior
- 87,500 Miles
- Underside recently rust proofed
The unusual Spindrift White makes this Jaguar stand out.
You don’t see many of these cars in this colour and with a shade over 500 of these V8 Jaguar’s left on the road currently (according to how many left.com) which has decreased from over 3,000 in the last 10 years, it is rapidly becoming even rarer.
There are a few points to raise, regarding the bodywork. The normal door chips and bonnet chips as you would expect, the roof has blistering over it and the rear door has paint flaking off it, which would require attention.

The Mechanics
- MOT till March 2023
- Correctly registered with matching vin plate
During photographing there were no untoward noises, smoke or leaks that were visible.
The car started first time, everything without hesitation and the engine ticks over nicely.
The owner has mentioned that on the last MOT the MOT person wrote that there was corrosion on the underside of the car, however, the owner thinks that the person carrying out the MOT was “overzealous” with that statement, and since has apparently ‘’ barred and undersealed the underneath with both subframes suffering just a little bit of surface rust’’

Summary
This car does seem like a nice genuine example.
Yes it requires a little bit of tlc, but with a bit of knowhow, it could continue to make easy work of motorway miles. Furthermore, it also would make a lovely wedding car and wouldn’t take much to get it to that standard where you could be part of someone’s special day.
The lovely V8 seems like it has many more miles to explore and will gladly take you wherever you’d like to go, with a whirl of V8 goodness.
