The Appeal

The Continental T was the high point of a particular type of classically-built Bentley. It was the first distinct Bentley-bodied car for many years and the last of the firm’s fully hand-built coupes.

As the SWB version of the Continental R, it was also devilishly good. When new it was the fastest Bentley ever built - and the world’s most expensive car. No wonder just 321 were built.

This car has been professionally resprayed in the very appealing combination of Beluga Black over quilted black leather. The marvellous hand-tooled interior is accented by a beautiful machine-turned aluminium dashboard, console and door trims.

This low mileage car is in very good condition and comes to market with advisory-free MOT to May 2025.

‘Black on black’ is a very fitting specification for this most understated and handsome of modern Bentleys. This car was professionally resprayed in 2015 and remains in great order, with only very light marks to note in photos. These do not detract. The car sits on correct five spoke 18in alloys with matching quality Pirelli tyres all round.

Inside is a treat for the eyes. The black quilted leather is accented by extensive turned aluminium trim that graces the doors, console and dashboard. The extensive leather trim to dashboard, seats and headlining is all in very good order showing barely any indications of use.

With close to 400bhp channelled through the rear wheels, this SWB Continental T would certainly have whet the appetite of those illustrious pre-war Bentley Boys.
