The Attractions
Japanese car manufacturers have never let the strict regulations imposed on Kei Cars hinder their creativity. In spite of strict limitations on their size, there are Kei Cars of all types, including this extravagant four-door MPV from Mitsubishi.
This 1997 Mitsubishi Minica Toppo Town Bee, this is its full name, was imported into Italy by its previous owner. Thanks to its 4-cylinder 16-valve engine with 55 hp, combined with a three-speed automatic transmission, it offers a very special and enjoyable driving experience, especially in town. Its large glass surfaces offer excellent visibility, which makes driving on urban roads easier. The salesman told us:
"This car was produced in 1997 and was imported personally by an enthusiast from Rome, who kept it with him for about two and a half years before selling it. It has always been maintained with great care and is accompanied by extensive service and maintenance documentation.
Since I bought it in September, I have used it every day, driving it for several thousand kilometres without any problems. The four-cylinder 16-valve engine produces 55 hp and the three-speed automatic transmission with torque converter (not a CVT) makes it pleasant and fun to drive.
If you are a Japanese Kei Car enthusiast, this is a very unique opportunity to secure a well-maintained example of these rare and special cars, usually reserved for Japan.
The seller:
"This is a really nice car and I would have loved to keep it, but unfortunately I can't. It will be perfect for those looking for a fun, practical car with a unique touch!"
