History and Paperwork
- Purchased in October 1997 by a RAF Wing Commander from Normand in Mayfair
- Had its second keeper in 2003 at just over 3,000 miles
- The car's third keeper purchased it in in 2015 with 6,600 miles on the clock
- Purchased by the current owner in March 2019 as the fifth owner from Edward Hall
- Currently indicates 62,477 miles
- Has MOTs back to 2002, warranting its mileage
- Had a B service on 31 October 2023 at 62,237 miles
- £15,743 has been spent on the car since March 2019 to bring it to a top-notch driving standard
- Being sold due to lack of space and the owner's decision to buy a new car

The Condition
- Highly original exterior in a beautiful Violane paintwork
- Bodywork is free of any dents or dings we can spot
- We can spot some chips on the front/bonnet and a scratch on the offside rear quarter panel
- However, other than these minor things, the car is a fabulous looker
- Runs on factory AMG 18” monoblock wheels
- Wheels have been refurbished and are shod in Falken tyres
- Underside is in very good condition
- Nappa leather interior in very good order
- Extensive wood trims are very nicely presented
- Upholstery is free of any rips or tears, with light wear on the driver's seat
- Period Motorola phone in matching light wood colour
- Minor wear on the driver's seat bolster
- Fitted with a DAB radio unit
- Rear parking sensors and soft close boot are intermittent
- Small, thumb-sized small dent in the offside quarter panel due to a parking knock but its just a dent with no paint breakage
The Mechanics
- Car is carrying a M119 4.2 litre V8 - often seen as one of the best engines ever built by Mercedes

- Mechanically superb with no fluid losses or usage
- Over 90% of its miles have been on the motorway and it uses no fluids between services
- Air con compressor was renewed in 2023 and the system had its seals renewed and was re-gassed
- Had new Catalysts and the diff and gearbox oil have been changed along with coolant
- Had new discs and pads all round less than 12 months ago and a pair of new front springs
