The Appeal
If an exacting director like Stanley Kubrick loved a Range Rover, it's a good sign that the car is worth your attention. The man practically defined high standards, with era defining films from Dr. Strangelove to A Clockwork Orange shaping our pop culture forever - but success comes with luxuries, too, and one of Kubrick's specifications was that films should be made within a short drive of his home.
To ferry him, his wife, his dog - probably the odd film star or two, as well - only a Range Rover would do. This particular one is likely the final to join his fleet before he passed away in 1999, and offers a fascinating piece of film memorabilia. Imagine who could have sat in those seats!

Beyond the association with one of the film world’s greatest auteurs, this is a low mileage, highly original P38 in luxury HSE trim with the desirable 4.6L Rover V8 powerplant. The car has had only two keepers from new, and though it's carrying some signs of age, these are no doubt parts of its provenance that the buyer will want to retain.
2023's MOT test contained no advisories, hopefully making this a stress-free chance to enjoy the comfort and cossetting ride that Kubrick relished at the start and end of his days on set.
