The Appeal
It's fair to say that Land Rover didn't believe in saturating their product line. After the introduction of the Range Rover in 1970, they waited 19 years to add something new to their off-roader lineage. It's perhaps unsurprising that the latest addition to the range was very full formed. The Discovery was intended as a mid-point between the traditional Landie and the Range Rover; a mid-class SUV that was explicitly designed as a family-oriented off-roader.
This '97 example is nicely presented, having been with the same family for a decent chunk of its life. It's been well looked-after, being accompanied by a comprehensive service history, and has a valid MOT until August 2025. Of note is that the chassis has been regularly treated, which leaves it in very solid condition: An essential, as any Land Rover fan will tell you!
