The Appeal

It took some time to get the Wolf right. The design was tested and rejected several times before it met the Ministry of Defence's exacting standards. But, once it was ready, the Wolf was perhaps the most capable vehicle Land Rover has ever produced. The rugged 300 TDi engine was chosen over the modern TD5 unit used in civilian Defenders, the MOD citing its reduced reliance on complex electronics. While elsewhere, the chassis and rear axle were strengthened, and an extra-tall fibreglass roof was fitted over an ultra-strong roll frame.

This 2019 example was purchased by the vendor directly from the MOD in 2019. Since then, it has undergone a repaint and the replacement of the lights, as well as undergoing routine maintenance in order to keep it in good driving order.

Complete with a long MOT and serviced within the last two months, this Wolf is ready to go to a new home.
