Highlights
- Retractable soft in good working order
- Imported to the Netherlands with all duties paid
- Handsome Carnival Red Mica metallic paint
The Appeal
Much like how the XK120 launched Jaguar's all-new, world-beating 'XK' straight-six in 1948, the XK8 unveiled the 4.0-litre AJ-V8 to the world in dramatic fashion. With styling borrowed from Jaguar's illustrious past, namely the E-Type, the XK8 was developed in conjunction with Aston Martin's DB7; both were enormously successful.
This 1997 Convertible looks lovely in its attractive Red Mica metallic over beige leather. It has just 99,587 miles on the odometer and looks to have worn very well for its age. A US market car, it's now imported to the Netherlands, with all duties/taxes paid, but it has yet to be road registered. If you're looking for a great example of Jaguar's highly regarded XJS replacement, this XK8 Convertible would be a fantastic choice.

Those bumps visible on the rear hood right before the Jaguar logo and on the passenger door, are they reflections or dents? Thank you.

On the last page of the receipt for the timing chain intervention, there is a note that the ABS/traction lights are on. Has this issue been resolved?
