The Appeal

With its M52 2.5L engine and engaging E36 underpinnings, this is the four seater convertible to cosset passengers and reward the driver. Good, original and unmodified examples, with low mileage, are rare but here we have one. It is the 170bhp version of the M52 engine, matched with a 5spd automatic gearbox that offers full, relaxing auto mode or more engaging sequential shift options.

Finished in Samoa Blue with rare Blue Violet leather interior, its two keepers from new - the first to March 2024 - have looked after it well. There are few indications that this is a 27 year old car and the history file tells a similar story of care. It has covered just 46,000 miles from new, the service history documenting attention irrespective of mileage.

With few miles since the last service and long MOT, this is a well specified car in great condition.
