The Appeal
Bonkers. Bavarian. Beautiful. The E31 was once the flagship model for BMW, featuring design work unlike any other, with hints of the Germans loosening their ties and trying something outside of the norm. And boy, it worked. Pop up headlights, hardtop body style with no B pillars, and menacingly good looks - what’s not to like? To this day, it remains to be one of the most unique and eye-catching models of the marque. Probably the most un-German, German vehicle that you can get your hands on.
This example is presented in a rather handsome BMW individual paint called Daytona Violet Metallic, with a contrasting grey leather interior with black piping - not to mention a lengthy list of optional extras. This is German 90’s opulence at its prettiest.
