The Appeal

For many, the R33 GT-R is the stuff of dreams. It's among the most celebrated performance cars of all time, reverentially dubbed 'Godzilla' - a moniker that perfectly captures the sheer performance that the R33 GTR offers. This 1996 example is one of the 2,291 Series II R33s. It was imported to the UK from Japan in 2016 and the vendor acquired it two years later.

"It’s been my pride and joy since I’ve purchased it back in November 2018. During my ownership, it’s been spoilt with nothing but the best in parts, modifications, restoration and huge amount of money spent.

It has undergone an extensive restoration with meticulous attention to detail, making it one. of the cleanest GT-Rs on the market. It’s got an amazing service folder full of receipts, an MOT history, and a Nismo wallet with manuals. It comes with one GTR key and two spare keys (three keys). The car gets serviced every six months regardless of use, and it hardly gets used, as this is not my only car and only gets taken out on special occasions.

The vehicle has been dry-stored and has been in my ownership for the entirety of its life. The engine is still original, and the restrictor pill and 112mph limiter are still in place; both very rare. This is a great investment car, as these cars are only going up in price. You will not find another example like this out there. A lot of attention to detail has gone into the restoration. The spec will blow your mind.

"The mileage on the MOT history is actually in kilometres and always has been since import. I decided to keep it as miles as the previous ones were done like that, so only done 359 kilometres last year. The mileage is currently 107,025 kilometres, so around 66,000 miles."
