The Appeal

In the world of motoring, is there any car more British than a Jaguar? How about a Jaguar with a professional Union Jack paint job?

Behold the Union Jag, a one-off, custom-creation built for a the 2015 Benidorm or Bust charity rally. Based on a 1996 Jaguar XJ X300 3.2 Sovereign, it features a distinctive paint job and some choice upgrades. This is much more than a shiny classic rally machine - the current keeper has gone right through the car to bring the mechanicals and running gear up to scratch, along the way adding some appealing modifications from the later XJ8, including chromed wheels.

The result is a very tidy example of the well regarded X300. That’s supported by the MOT, which runs to October 2025 with no advisories.

Full respray in dark blue with ‘candy’ sparkle finish and painted Union Jack
Paintwork finished to a good standard and remains in very good order
Two small marks to paintwork due to previous advertising stickers
