The Appeal

In the 1990s, coupes were back in vogue. Of the many options, Volkswagen’s Corrado was amongst the most appealing. Based on the superb Golf Mk2 chassis and available with the grumbly 2.9litre V6, the Karmann-built Corrado had it all.

A high price suppressed sales when new, but these rare cars have found their place on the modern classic scene. The later 2.9litre VR6 makes this car a clever blend of long-legged GT and agile B road banzai.

Finding a good, well kept car is the key, and here, as if by magic, is one. The history file can be measured in inches, such its is scope, with full service history and evidence of significant ongoing maintenance and improvement over the last two decades.
