The Appeal
Released as rebirth of the MGB, the RV8 hit the market in 1992, reigniting the golden era of the British roadster following Mazda's release of the MX5. With a distinct heritage shape, a beautifully lush interior and that oh-so-important Rover V8 powerplant, it's little wonder that the new MG Roadster was picked up so heavily by Japan - which was going through a huge spell of Cool Britannia.
This example did exactly that, and only 20,000 miles later (having previously covered approximately 19,500 miles in Japan), comes to us as a superb ambassador of the RV8's allure. The dark green paintwork, cream interior and wooden trims are an impeccable recapture of British traditions, too. We've no doubt this car will turn plenty of heads,
