The Appeal

The R129 was effectively the linchpin for its impressive 13-year run. Built upon the same basic approach as its predecessor - the iconic R107 - the roadster continued its ethos of solid build quality, uncluttered styling and a comfortable interior - along with some of the most rock-solid engines in the business.

This example, previously based in the USA, comes to us in an evocative Black livery, and is accompanied by a clean CARFAX report. Under the bonnet sits the well-respected 3.2-Litre six-cylinder engine, delivering some 228hp, and from what we can tell, the full package is highly original to when it rolled out of Bremen in '95.

Having recently undergone some maintenance work, all that's left is registering this fine roadster in Europe and taking it out onto the network.
