The Appeal
In 1993, the C-Class (W202) took over from the highly successful 190E as the smallest model in the Mercedes-Benz passenger car range. Even though it was the ‘entry-level’ model, the W202 maintained all the engineering refinements and build quality that made the Three-pointed Star renowned around the World. With a 2.8-litre six-cylinder engine, it provided comfort and refinement in an over-engineered yet understated aimed at discerning buyers.

Summary
The Mercedes W202 is such a practical, reliable workhorse that we are used to seeing very high milers. It’s really quite refreshing to see one with a much lower mileage – and that its corroborated by the equally excellent service history.
Upon close inspection, looking into nooks and cranes, at the door seals or smaller engine components, it becomes obvious that people have really looked after this car. The Mercedes looks like it’s been garaged all its life.
It’s worth paying a premium for an example like this, knowing that it still has so many more miles left in it.
