The Appeal
As any traveller knows, it’s not just about the destination, it’s about the getting there too. Step forward Tenzing, this Sherpa-based LDV transporter, a van that will make getting to your classic event as entertaining as the race itself.
That’s thanks to its 250bhp Rover V8, which we’re told can despatch distances with relaxing aplomb - 80mph cruising is realistic, where roads and laws allow of course. Twin 200L LPG tanks means that rapid progress doesn’t come at a cost when you reach the pumps.
It is a presentable and practical two-keeper van with vast 3.76m load area. Tie rings, straps, lightweight aluminium ramps and a winch make loading and unloading straightforward. In the cab there are three seats, the driver treated to a comfy leather-trimmed Toyota Land Cruiser electrically operated and heated seat.
A long MOT to June 2025 means this practical and capable classic transporter is ready to roll.
