The Appeal
For those seeking an alternative to the home-grown 4x4s, Jeep’s XJ is a great choice. It is easy to see why - classically styled, very capable on or off road and equipped with the firm’s highly regarded 4litre straight six, these models are also very luxurious.
It is rare to find one like this, a very sparingly used, two-keeper model that doesn’t even have a tow bar. This is the top specification Limited with leather trim and that excellent 185bhp straight six motor.
The condition reflects the low keepers and sub-75,000 mileage. The current one has owned it for 25 years, garaging it for most of that time and keeping on top of the maintenance and serviving. It is fitted with some tasty options including bull bars, auxiliary lights and side steps, which dial up the style.
A service 3,000 miles ago and long MOT to February 2025 mean that this highly preserved XJ is ready to enjoy.
