The Appeal
The introduction of the Mk5 Escort also heralded the rebirth of the hallowed 'RS2000'. Intended to be a worthy successor to hot versions of the Mk1 and Mk2 Escorts, the new RS2000 would run into the Escorts 6th generation, which would be the very last to wear the badge. It quickly gained a reputation for its impressive performance and as the last of the RS2000s, they're becoming increasingly sought-after.
This fine example dates from 1995 and has clearly been cherished. With an advisory-free MOT valid until March 2024, and a comprehensive overhaul completed by a local garage, it's is in lovely condition and ready to be enjoyed by its new owner.
