The Appeal
For those looking for style of Bentley’s fire-breathing Turbo R with more relaxed - yet still ‘sufficient’ - turbocharged performance, there was the very popular Brooklands. It was fittingly named after the ground-breaking Surrey race track where the firm’s cars cemented their reputation.
Just 625 Brooklands were built in RHD. This car is one of the later models that adopted the light-pressure version of the Turbo R’s full-throated turbo. It is classically finished in Sherwood Green metallic with Sable leather interior accented in green. Beyond the well kept condition, the car’s calling card is its mere trio of keepers from new - the current one since 2017 - and remarkable run of full service history to the present day including 20 service stamps.
Since the vendor acquired the car it has been maintained by specialist Bob Seymour. His decision to retire has forced the vendor to offer it for sale. Recent work includes a brake and suspension overhaul, new front discs and new battery. The MOT runs to March and contains no structural advisories.
