The Appeal
Sometimes a standard wheelbase Bentley really is not enough. This 1995 car went to Conway’s of Westhoughton in 2006 where it was professionally converted into a six-door long wheelbase limousine. The work was extensive and to a high standard, including applying special ‘Birkin’ badges that reference Henry Birkin, the Bentley racer who regularly triumphed at the circuit this factory car was named after - Brooklands.
Perhaps the greatest complement that can be paid to Conway's work is that it is hard to tell where Bentley's caochbuilders finished and Conway's began. The evolution into a limousine is impressive and clearly executed to a high standard.

Finished in very smart Light Oyster with complementary grey leather interior, it remains in great order. Aside from the condition and impressive history file - there are over 20 service stamps - key to this car’s appeal is that it is correctly registered as a limousine with the DVLA. If you choose to press this handsome car into commercial use, that will be important.
With its low mileage, coachbuilt conversion and long, advisory-free MOT, this Bentley rarity offers great commercial potential.

This car is a testament to the coachbuilder's art - first by Bentley and then by Conway's. The reworking of the original bodywork is impressive - the car looks like a factory product - and the interior is equally beguiling. Inside you'll find high quality veneers and leathers. There are no sense of corners being cut, an impressive reinforced by Conway's application of bespoke badging to the exterior that references Bentley's illustrious history.
Despite the passage of nearly 20 years since the conversion, the work continues to stand up very well. There are some minor points to note - likely easily remedied before they get worse - and the interior is particularly impressive. Only the driver's seat hints at use and the switchgear, carpets and leather-clad dashboard are all in very good order. There are a couple of minor electrical points to note but, again, these would be easily remedied.

The big V8 engine is more than a match for this car's increased length. It is a very low mileage car with a remarkable run of documented history that includes over 20 service stamps. It was last serviced 2,000 miles ago including plus and fluids.
The vendor acquired the car a couple of years ago and has used it for a lengthy UK tour during which the car proved entirely reliable.
This low mileage, well preserved limousine has great commercial potential and with such a healthy maintenance file should prove reliable too.
