The Appeal
After the introduction of the reincarnated Mini Cooper in 1990, Rover Group suddenly found a renewed interest in the Mini – a model that had already seen over 30 years of continuous production.
The popularity of the Cooper saw the rest of the range get a boost as well, from the entry-level Sprite to the plush Mayfair via a myriad of special editions.
This one is a lovely example. It’s a 1994 Mayfair, fresh from a ground-up restoration completed last year and presented in truly immaculate condition.
Everyone loves a Mini, and this one is a truly adorable example in absolutely fantastic condition throughout, with a massive pile of invoices for the parts purchased during its restoration, all from a reputable Mini parts specialist. It has been kept in a dry and heated garage since.
No stone was left unturned during its restoration – the Mini has had new front and rear subframes, a full body restoration, total interior refurbishment with some tasteful upgrades and new running gear throughout. You’ll have to look long and hard to find a better example.
