The Appeal
The MG RV8 was the car that put MG back into the minds of modern motorists. First introduced in 1992 when the new 'heritage' MBG body shells re-entered production, production was capped at a maximum of only 18 per week - so they were expensive, and marketed as a luxury nostalgia-baiting motor.
Only 1,983 were ever built - most of which were intended for foreign shores. This particular ex-Japanese MG RV8 has been treated to plenty of attention, with Spax shock absorbers and new front springs running alongside a Clive Wheatley large bore exhaust. With over 14 years of comprehensive service history, this RV8 is resplendent in a charming Woodcote green with a beige leather interior.
