The Appeal

Like the 190 before it, the W202 shrunk the qualities of Mercedes-Benz' big saloons into a more compact form, in the process losing none of the quality and relaxing ambience that make its siblings so appealing.

These cars make great - and distinctive - daily drivers, particularly when equipped with the ultra economical diesel engine as here. Its reliability is well known - this car's 229,000 miles from new is proof of that. There is plenty of life left in it, as the maintenance history and general condition attests.

It is a well kept car whose trio of keepers have ensured regular maintenance and servicing throughout its life. The attractive Elegance specification - including a hardwearing blue fabric interior, wood veneers and sunroof - is accented outside by those purposeful Carlsson alloys.
