The Appeal

The current long term keeper of this very smart R129 is proof why these cars are so popular. The car’s comfort, economy and decent power - not to mention the large boot - have made it perfect for long distance, two-week holidays across the UK and Europe.

Whether you plan similar trips or something closer to home, this well kept SL320 is well worth considering. It is, for many, the R129 to have - the M104 straight six 3.2L engine offers decent power - 230bhp - and is well respected for its reliability and reasonable economy.
