The Appeal
Originally developed as a military vehicle, the G-Wagon would shed its guise relatively quickly, soon becoming known instead for its level of comfort and luxury. These boxy, imposing and nonetheless remarkably rugged off-roaders would become one of the most successful vehicles in Mercedes-Benz' history, and continue to be highly prized by the rich and the adventurous alike.
This fine example of the G-Wagon has been subject to extensive work, including a comprehensive rebuild and a rather impressive matte black finish, completed with a soft metallic sparkle effect, a Brabus-style bodykit and R20 Brabus wheels.
The luxurious two-tone cabin has been completely retrimmed, with a Brabus steering wheel and a state-of-the-art sound system. The result is that this overhauled vehicle is a fine combination of both the old and the new - with a freshly rebuilt OM606 3.0-Litre Diesel powerplant still proudly sitting under the bonnet.
