The Appeal
The classic Range Rover is a bit of a leviathan when it comes to longevity. First introduced in 1970, the car remained on the market until 1996, steadily moving upmarket as the more luxury-orientated leisure driver began to show interest in the legendary SUV. These changes were pretty gradual though; it wasn't until the end of 1994 that the old 'Airfix Plastic' dash was replaced with a soft leather iteration.
This August 1994 car, then, is perhaps one of the very last examples of the car to be built with the 'Airfix Plastic' dashboard, and stands out remarkably for that beguiling 'Ferrari Blue TDF Metallic' livery, for which it may be the only example in the UK. Originally a Land Rover management car, the vehicle has recently undergone a light restoration following a 20-year period of ownership, and is now ready and waiting to join the lucky new owner.
